Elfin Feb 17-18 2020

So really quickly since there have been many many Elfin trips, and there will be many many more..

Around 25 or so of us went up to Elfin over one long weekend Monday, and one extra Tuesday. Notable subgroups included the volunteer dinner crew, the ski crew, the executive planning committee, the new Jeep occupancy record crew, and many other people as well.

Day 1 was skinning up to Elfin carrying lots of food, gratuitous sunset photos, then preparing lots of food..

Overall very nice weather for the skin in Monday with some clouds rolling through.

Quick sunset ski.

Sunset skin back up.

Then Day 2 came around with some lovely breakfast, then a quick ski of one of the very conveniently located neighboring mountains. This was the first mountain I ever slogged up with the intention of skiing off, so that was very very cool.

View from the hut - we skied the bump on the left (specifically to the right of those debris on the slope,) and the weather was not cloudy at all and very warm.

Patrick looking stylish on the last of the short boot pack to the summit - exciting stuff.

Hanging out and doing whatever it is that people do on the top of a mountain.

Overall excellent trip. Big big thank you to all the people who put work into making this happen, and everyone who showed up and had a good time.
